Privacy Notice

Changed on November 1, 2026: Google Analytics now follows regional consent defaults, the Allow/Decline notice that used to appear at the bottom of each page is gone, and this page has a button that turns analytics off on this browser. The short version

The decoder runs in your browser: the state you pick is not sent to us or stored. Opening a page, including a state page, is counted as a page view by Google Analytics as described below. We do not ask for an email, and there are no accounts.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Before Google Analytics loads, each page sets Google Consent Mode defaults by region. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are denied by default, so Google Analytics runs without analytics cookies and may send limited cookieless measurements. In all other regions, including the United States, analytics and advertising storage are granted by default, and Google Analytics may set its cookies (_ga, _ga_HJK8YWXVZY). We do not sell personal data.

Turn off analytics on this browser

The button below stops Google Analytics on this browser: on this page at once, and on every later visit. It also deletes the Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_HJK8YWXVZY) from this browser, and they are deleted again on later visits while your choice is stored. When you click it, this site stores one value in your browser’s localStorage: fd-consent = denied. Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described above, that stored choice is the only thing this site keeps in your browser. It is written when you click the button, or was written earlier if you clicked “Decline” on the old notice. To undo it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Advertising

This site loads no advertising or retargeting tag.

Cookies

The only cookies this site’s code leads to are the Google Analytics cookies described above (_ga, _ga_HJK8YWXVZY); the only other stored item is the fd-consent choice, and only after you turn analytics off.
