Flood-disclosure law changes — so does this site. Every dataset revision is logged here with its date. It's a freshness signal and an accountability record.

    Initial dataset published — 51 jurisdictions

    Launched the 50-state + DC flood-disclosure dataset: 36 jurisdictions primary-source verified, 15 corroborated via legislature mirrors and official forms. Classified every jurisdiction into the four disclosure levels (25 flood-specific, 16 general, 7 buyer-beware, 3 no statute). Featured the Florida HB 1049 and New York $500-opt-out case studies with primary sources.

Planned cadence: quarterly review of the full dataset, with priority re-checks after hurricane season (Sept–Nov) and after any reported state legislative change. See the methodology for how each row is verified.
